A Unique Ram Story

A unique Ram story

Once a king got Ram Katha done in the village and said that all Brahmins should be invited for Ram Katha, the king made everyone sit in place to read Ram Katha.

There was a Brahmin thumb impression, he could not read, write, write, that Brahmin sat at the back, and thought that when the next page turns, I will also turn it.

Seeing for a long time that the person sitting nearby is not turning the page, in that the king started coming near that gentleman while bowing reverently to everyone, so he uttered a single rote that “Now if the king asks, what will I say”
“Now if the king asks, what will I say?”

Hearing this from the gentleman, the person sitting nearby also started memorizing, “Your speed is my speed, your speed is my speed,”

In that third person said, how long will this pole last! How long will this pole last?

Fourth person said
As long as it walks, let it go, as long as it walks, all four of them are sitting with their heads down in such a way that-

1 Now if the king asks, what will I say?
2 Your speed is my speed..
3 How long will this poll last..
4 Let it go till it lasts..

When the king heard the voices of all four of them, the king asked that what are all these singing, we have never heard such incidents before in Ramayana.

In the same way, a Mahatma got up and said, Maharaj is telling all these contexts of Ramayana, he is the first person, he is very learned, Sumat said this in (Ayodhyakand), Ram Lakshman leaves Sita ji in the forest and returns home. Summat says that now if the king asks, what will I say? Now if the king asks, what will I say?

Then asked that this second one says that your speed is my speed, the Mahatma said, Maharaj, he is more learned than him, (Kishkindhakand) When Hanuman ji, Rama went to Sugreev with Lakshman ji on both his shoulders. Ram ji had said that, Sugriva! Your speed is my speed, your wife has been kept by Bali and my wife has been abducted by Ravana.

The king respectfully asked again, Mahatma ji! This third one is saying that how long will this pole last, no saint has ever said this? Said Maharaj, he is even more knowledgeable. In (Lankakand) Angad ji set his foot in the meeting of Ravana, then in this context Medhnath told his father Ravana that, Father Shri! How long will this pole last, first a monkey came and went away after burning our Lanka, and now it says that if someone removes my leg from here, Lord Shri Ram will return without fighting.

Then the king said that this fourth is speaking? Mahatma ji said, Maharaj, he is such a great scholar that no one can match him, he is talking about Mandodari, Mandodari told Ravana many times that, Swami! Give up your stubbornness, hand over Sita ji to Ram ji with respect, otherwise it will be a disaster. Then Ravana told this thing to Mandodari that as long as it lasts, let it go.

I have laddus in both my hands, if I am killed by Rama, then I will be liberated, nothing happens with bhajan-weight from this degraded body, and if I win the battle, I will be hailed in Triloki too.

The king was astonished by all these things and said that today we have got to hear such a wonderful incident that we have not heard till today, the king was so pleased that he told that Mahatma that whatever you say, I am ready to donate.

With wisdom, that Mahatma got those illiterate thumb impression Brahmins to get many donations, Dakshina.

Here is something to pay special attention to:-
All these things have the same essence that no one ignorant, no atheist, no matter what, one gets rid of all troubles just by touching the great texts like Ramayana, Bhagwat with devotion.

And if you become a true lover of God, what is the matter with him, don’t ask how rich he becomes.
