How and how many times should we rotate the Aarti?
🌹 It is mentioned in Satsang-Vachanamrit: Every deity has a Beej Mantra. When we perform Aarti, we make a shape according to their Beej Mantra so that the energy and nature of that deity comes into us and our aura is in sync with their aura and our aura becomes available to the divinity. That is why Aarti is performed for God, Sadguru, Bhagwan.
🔹If we perform Aarti by making a shape of the Beej Mantra of that deity with the Aarti plate, it is more beneficial. For example, when you perform Aarti of Lord Ram, his Beej Mantra is ‘Raam’, then making the word ‘Raam’ in the Aarti will be more beneficial. If we perform Aarti of Goddess, then make Saraswati’s ‘Aim’ or Lakshmi’s ‘Shreem’. Ganpati’s Beej Mantra is ‘Gam’, so make that shape with the plate. Now if you don’t know which Beej Mantra belongs to which God, then the main Beej Mantra of all Beej Mantras is ‘Om’. While chanting the Aarti, you can make the Omkar. The natural sound of the Supreme God inside all Gods and Goddesses is Om.
🔹So make ‘Om’ or chant the Aarti from the feet of the God to his knees (4 times), then in front of the navel (2 times), then in front of the mouth (1 time), then in all the body parts together (7 times). By this, the qualities and nature of the God start coming into the nature of the person chanting the Aarti.
Scientific basis of Aarti
🔹Now even scientists are stunned to see how much benefit is derived from this worship system of India! They also got amazing results. Now scientists say that by performing Aarti, if there is a special person, then his special aura and the aura of a normal person start merging. In the view of scientists, it is only an aura, even then thanks! But along with the aura, the thoughts are also similar, along with this, the opposite nature of the waves emanating from our body and the other person’s body gets eliminated and a feeling of light is created in our life.
🔹Just like ghee, petrol and flowers etc. have their own different smells, similarly every person has his own aura. Now, a photo of that aura can also be taken through Kirlian photography. When Aarti is performed in front of a deity or a Sadguru, the lamp acts as a catalytic agent in the process of merging their aura with our aura.
For getting long life and health and reducing the increase in enemies
🔹There are so many benefits of doing Aarti and there are benefits of watching Aarti too: By seeing the Aarti done at the Temple, the enemies will not fall upon you. The lamp light provides long life and health and reduces the increase in enemies. Neighbors or competitors are not as many enemies of each other as lust, anger, greed etc. are enemies in human life. So, by seeing Aarti, the increase in enemies is reduced.
🔹According to the scriptures, the one who sees Dhoop and Aarti and takes Aarti with both hands, he liberates many of his generations and attains the supreme position of Lord Vishnu.
