Third Day of Sharadiya Navratri – Durga Pooja

Mother Chandraghanta gives freedom from Sufferings


The third day of Navratri is dedicated to Mother Chandraghanta. This Shakti is the Shivdoot form of Mother. She has an hour-shaped crescent on her head, which is why she is called Chandraghanta Devi. In the battle with the Asuras, Goddess Chandraghanta destroyed the Asuras with the bell of the bell. They are worshiped on the third day of Navratri. By worshiping them, the seeker automatically gets the siddhis arising from the Manipura Chakra and gets freedom from worldly troubles.


Mother Kushmanda Removes Diseases and Sorrows.
The main deity of the Chaturthi Tithi of Navratri is Maa Kushmanda. Goddess Kushmanda is the destroyer of diseases immediately. The devotee who worships him gets good health along with wealth and wealth. Kushmanda, this fourth form of Maa Durga, created the egg, the universe, from her abdomen. For this reason this form of Durga was named Kushmanda.

Anahata Chakra of our body is awakened by the worship of Maa Kushmanda. By worshiping him, all our diseases and sorrows are removed. Also, the devotees get all material and spiritual happiness along with age, fame, strength and health.

Sharadiya Navratri
Offer Milk to Mother Durga on Tritiya Tithi i.e. on the third day. This gives freedom from Sorrows.
Offer Malpua to Mother Durga on the fourth day of Navratri i.e. Chaturthi Tithi. This ends problems.

On the days of Navratri, offer 21 or 51 offerings of Kheer while reciting Gayatri Mantra. This will greatly benefit the student.
