🌷 The month of Ashwin 🌷
🙏🏻 Ashwin is the seventh month of Hinduism. It was named Ashwin because it was a full moon with the constellation Ashwin (Ashwininakshatrayukta paurnamasi yatra mase sah). The month of Ashwin is associated with the Ashwins, the two sons of the sun and the healers of the gods. This month is also known as Kwar. (according to the North Indian Hindu calendar) has started Ashwin. (According to Gujarat and Maharashtra, the month of Bhadrapad is currently underway).

🙏🏻 According to Mahabharata Anushasana Parva Chapter 106 “Tathaivasvayujam masamekabhaktena yas kshipet. He is born wise, rich in vehicles and has many sons.” He who spends the month of Ashwin at one time eating is holy, endowed with various vehicles and endowed with many sons.

🌷 Parvati is indeed born in the month of Ashwin. Various calamities, loss of wealth and sinful conduct increase.

🙏🏻 According to the Mahabharata Anushasana Parva, whoever gives ghee to the Brahmins in the month of Ashwin, the divine physician Ashwinikumar is pleased and gives him form.

🌷 On the sixth day of the dark fortnight in the month of Ashwin, the constellation Rohini appears. Then the sixth day of Vyatipata bestows infinite merit on Kapila

🙏🏻 If Tuesday, Rohini Nakshatra and Vyatipat are on the sixth day of Krishna Paksha in the month of Ashwin, it is called Kapila Shashti Yoga, which gives infinite merit. This combination is very rare.

🙏🏻 According to Shiva Purana, Sati worshiped Lord Shiva by offering jaggery, rice and salt on Nanda (Pratipada, Shashti and Ekadashi) dates in the month of Ashwin and spent the month with the same rules by offering obeisances to him

🙏🏻 Ashwin Krishna Paksha is known as Pitra Paksha Mahalaya in which Shraddha is performed for the purpose of getting rid of the debt of the ancestors and satisfying the ancestors.

🙏🏻 If you don’t have any money at all to do Shraddha, you should borrow money and do Shraddha. If no one is lending you money, just give Jalanjali with seven or eight sesame seeds with devotion and humility on earth for the purpose of the ancestors. If this is not possible, get fodder from somewhere and feed it to the cow. And if that is not possible, show your side and say to the sun and the guardians of the directions:

“न मेऽस्ति वित्तं न धनं न चान्यच्छ्राद्धोपयोग्यं स्वपितॄन्‌नतोऽस्मि ।
🌷 “I have neither wealth nor anything else suitable for shraddha. I bow down to my ancestors.
Let the fathers be satisfied with the allowance I have made for these two arms in the path of the wind.
➡ ‘I have neither wealth nor any other materials worthy of Shraddhakarma. So I salute my ancestors. May they be satisfied by my devotion. I have both my arms raised to the sky.
