➡ Pishachmochan Shraddha Date: Marshish Shukla Chaturdashi which this year is 06:48 am on Tuesday 06 December 2022 to 07 December, Wednesday morning 08:01 Marshish Shukla Chaturdashi.
🙏🏻 On this day, by offering oblations etc. for the sake of the living beings (ancestors) who have received the ghost form, they get salvation. Those who have had an untimely death in their family, neighborhood or acquaintances or are suffering from ghosts or ancestors. , they must perform Shraddha-Tarpan on the vampire Mochini Tithi by making a resolution for their salvation, peace of mind and liberation. A person suffering from ghosts must do this.

➡ Method: After morning bath, sit facing south. After Tilak, Aachaman etc, take water in brass or copper plate or tapeli etc. Mix milk, curd, ghee, sugar, honey, kum-kum, Akshat, sesame, Kush in it. Take pure water in hand and make a resolution that ʹto get rid of the evil spirit of such a person (name), we are performing this Pishachmochan Shradh today on Pishachmochan Shraddha Tithi.ʹ Leave the water of the hand on the ground. Then sprinkle some black sesame on the ground around you so that Lord Vishnu protects our Shraddha from the demons. Now wearing a Kush ring on the ring finger (ʹૐ आर्यमायै नमः) while chanting the mantra, do 108 offerings to the Pitritirth i.e. take finger-fulls of water from the plate and let the index finger of the right hand fall between the thumb and the finger, in this way Keep pouring in the same container. (Tarpan is to be done with water kept in brass or copper plate or tapeli.)
🙏🏻 108 After the tarpan is done, take pure water in the right hand and take a resolution that this tarpan has been done for the salvation of all the souls, this tarpan work is dedicated at the feet of Lord Narayan. Then calm down a bit and sit in Bhagavad-peace. Later, offer the water of Tarpan to Peepal.
