🙏🏻 Pradosh Vrat is a fast dedicated to Lord Shiva that falls on the thirteenth day of both the lunar fortnights in every month of the Hindu calendar. Devotees observe this fast to seek Lord Shiva’s blessings. This year, Sompradosh Vrat will be on Monday, 28th August. On this auspicious day, Lord Shiva is specially worshiped. 👉🏻 Do Fast and Worship like this

🙏🏻 – After taking bath in the morning on the day of Pradosh Vrat, bathe Lord Shankar, Parvati and Nandi with Panchamrit and Gangajal.

🙏🏻 – After this, offer bel patra, smell, rice, flowers, incense, lamp, naivedya (bhog), fruit, betel nut, clove, cardamom to God.

🙏🏻 – Stay fasting for the whole day (if not possible, you can do fruit at one time) and worship the Shiva family in the same way again in the evening.

🙏🏻 – Offer barley sattu with ghee and sugar to Lord Shiva. Light eight lamps in eight directions.

🙏🏻 – Perform aarti of Lord Shiva. Offer prasad to God and break your fast with that. Observe celibacy on that day.

Rise early in the morning and take a bath. Then, offer water to the Sun God from a copper vessel. Add fig flowers to the water as they are very dear to Lord Shiva. This will help you gain the favor of both the Sun God and Lord Shiva and bring you good luck.
