🙏🏻 As we know that there are four eras: –
🙏🏻 Satyug, Treta Yug, Dwapar Yug, Kaliyug all these yugas started on different dates.
🙏🏻 Yuga+Adi means the date of the beginning of the era, this is called Ugadi Tithi, that is, the date on which a new era started or will happen in the past or future, is called Ugadi Tithi.
👉🏻 Ugadi dates are very auspicious, chanting, penance, meditation, bath, donation, yagya, havan etc. done on this day gives Akshay (which does not perish / decay) fruit.

➡️ Monday 20 February 2023 is Somvati Amavasya from sunrise to 12:35 noon.
🙏🏻 In the festival of Somvati Amavasya, there is great importance of bathing and donating.
😌 Bathing silently on this day also gives the result of thousand cows.
🌳 On this day there is a ritual of worshiping Peepal and Lord Vishnu and doing 108 circumambulation of them. 8 out of 108 pradakshina is done by wrapping raw yarn around the Peepal tree. 108 fruits are kept separately while doing Pradakshina. Later they are distributed among the Brahmins or Brahmins who worship the Lord. By doing this the child becomes chiranjeevi.
🌿 Poverty is eradicated by doing 108 parikramas of Tulsi on this day.

🔥 Method: Make a fire pit by putting cow sandalwood or sandalwood in a vessel, then with the material prepared from the mixture of the above 8 things, all the members of the house gather and offer 1-1 sacrifice to the deities given below.
