Ten types of Bath on the Festival of Raksha Bandhan
🙏🏻 In the month of Shravan, the full moon of Raksha Bandhan is 30 August 2023, Wednesday, ten types of bath have been described in the Vedas.

Bhasma Bath :– You can use the Yagya’s ashes to purify yourself by applying some on your forehead and body. You can get the Yagya’s ashes from the ashram, but if you are at home, you can do something else. You can light some cow sandalwood incense sticks and chant your ishtamantra or Gurumantra in the evening. Then you can save the ashes of the incense sticks after they burn. These ashes are also sacred because they are made from cow dung, herbs and ghee. They are like the Yagya’s ashes. You can use them for the ash bath on Shravani Purnima. This is what I have told you before.

Mud Bath:-

Gomaya Bath – Cow dung bath means applying some cow dung mixed with water on your body. The Vedas say that cow dung (of local cow) has Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, in it. Gomaya Vasate Lakshmi Pavitra Sarva Mangala | Snanartham Sam Sanskrita Devi Papam Hargo May || This means that when we bathe with cow dung, we increase our devotion, which is a form of wealth. We also become more pure and free from sins. We develop the 26 divine qualities that are mentioned in the Gita. This is the third type of bath.

Panchgavya Bath :–

Panchgavya is a mixture of cow dung, cow urine, cow milk, cow curd and cow ghee. You may have drunk Panchgavya many times. You can also use Panchgavya for bathing, even if you only have a little bit of it. If you don’t have Panchgavya, you can use cow dung alone. This will make your body healthy, strong and fit. Your body is made of five elements, and you need to take care of them. This will help you to serve others, meditate and worship God.
👉🏻 Rest tomorrow……

🌷 Raksha Bandhan 🌷
सर्वरोगोपशमनं सर्वाशुभविनाशनम् ।
सकृत्कृते नाब्दमेकं येन रक्षा कृता भवेत् ।।
🙏🏻 The Rakshasutra worn on this festival is the destroyer of all diseases and inauspicious deeds. Wearing it once in a year protects a person throughout the year.(Bhavishya Purana)

🌷 Manu Smriti 🌷
🙏🏻 Rakshabandhan is a special festival for brothers and sisters. It shows the love and bond between them. On this day, brothers give their sisters gifts and affection. According to Manu Smriti, there are three things that men should give to the women of their house to keep peace and prosperity.

🌷 Verse-
यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यते, रमन्ते तत्र देवताः।
➡ Manu Smriti: Give these 3 things to your sister, you will get success in every work, there will be benefits

Clothes:
Clothes are important for women. They like to dress up and look good. Manusmriti says that God blesses the house where men give nice clothes to their wife, mother or sister. Such a house has happiness, peace and success. The woman is the Lakshmi of the house, the goddess of wealth. If the women wear dirty or old clothes, or if the men do not give them new clothes often, then Lakshmi gets angry with the house.

Jewelery:
Ornaments are things that women wear to look beautiful. Women love ornaments very much. The house where women are happy is like heaven. Men should give pretty ornaments to the women in their house. The house where the women wear nice clothes and ornaments is never poor. Maa Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, always stays in such a house.

Sweet Words:
Women are worthy of respect and worship. Many scriptures and stories say that we should honor women. Manusmriti says that God does not stay in a house where women are treated badly or rudely. A man who does not respect women always faces problems. So a man should always be kind and respectful to women, especially the women in his house.
