🌷 How to celebrate Holi 🌷
🙏🏻 Holi is a holy festival of identity of Indian culture, an opportunity to remove discrimination and express mutual love and harmony. It is a festival to highlight the joy of egolessness and simple spontaneity.
➡ This Rangotsav is the foresight of our forefathers which communicates unity in the society even in the midst of many disparities. While the shower of colorful colors of Holi brings a pleasant feeling in the mind, on the other hand, if caution, restraint and prudence are not maintained, then these colors also become sad. Therefore, it is also very important to take some precautions on this festival.
➡ In ancient times, people used to play Holi with colors made from Palash flowers or Abir-Gulal, Kum-Kum-Turmeric. But in present times, colors made of chemical elements are used. These colors get deposited on the skin in the form of spots. Hence such colors should be avoided. If someone has applied such color on you, then immediately wash off the color by applying a mixture of gram flour, flour, milk, turmeric and oil on the colored parts. If done, it becomes easier to remove the color.
➡ Before playing with colors, your body should be thoroughly rubbed with coconut or mustard oil. So that there is no side effect of color on the oily skin and only by applying soap the color can be removed from the body. Special care should be taken that the color does not enter the eyes or mouth. This can cause damage to the eyes and lungs.
➡ Those who play Holi with mud and excreta of animals, they themselves become unholy, they also commit the sin of making others unholy. Therefore, it is better to stay away from those who do such evil deeds.
➡ At present, there is a bad practice of drinking liquor or bhang on the day of Holi. People who are intoxicated become irrational and do the worst of bad deeds. Therefore, one should be careful with drugs and drug addicts. Nowadays, there is a period of freedom everywhere. In the blind imitation of the western world, the Indian society is losing its conscience of good and bad. Those who are seekers, who respect culture, have faith in God and Guru, such people should especially have decency and self-control. Men celebrate Holi only with men and women only with women. It is better if women celebrate Holi in their own homes so that they can avoid the evil eye of evil-minded people.
➡ Holi is not just a festival of burning heaps of wood. It is a holy day to remove the weaknesses of the mind, to burn the dirty desires of the mind. Holi is a festival to burn your vices, addictions and evils……. Holi is a festival to receive goodness ……… Holi is a festival to spread the message of affection in the society….. …..
➡ From today onwards, by renouncing luxurious lusts, we should develop the divine qualities of divine love, goodwill, sympathy, good faith, chanting, remembrance, devotion to satsangishtha, self-religion, compassion, kindness etc. in our life. Strong devotion to God, love of God, tolerance, and equality should be invoked like devotee Prahlad.
➡ * Truth, peace, love, perseverance triumph, today reminds us of this. Holi is the day of the defeat of demonic instinct like Hiranyakashipu and hypocrisy like Holika, this holy festival reminds us of nature changing its rules in front of a firm believer in God. ‘Holi’ is the festival that gives the message to man to cross the ocean of the world by maintaining devotion to God even in the face of obstacles like devotee Prahlad!
