In the ‘Shiv Purana’, Pushya Nakshatra has been described as the embodiment of Lord Shiva. Due to the influence of Pushya Nakshatra, even the most harmful defects are eliminated and fruitless, they become favorable for us by becoming complementary to Pushya Nakshatra. Sarvasiddhikar: Pushya: According to this scripture, Pushya Nakshatra is Sarvasiddhikar. By performing Shradh in Pushya Nakshatra, the ancestors get eternal gratification and the doer gets wealth, daughter etc.

Chanting, meditation, charity, virtue done in this yoga is very fruitful, but marriage and all auspicious work related to it are prohibited in Pushya. (Shiva Purana, Vidyeshwara Samhita: Chapter 10)
