In the 118th chapter of ‘Brahma Purana’, Shani Dev says- ‘Those who regularly touch the Peepal tree on my day i.e. Saturday, all their works will be accomplished and they will not have any pain from me. Those who wake up early in the morning on Saturday and touch the Peepal tree, they will not suffer from planetary pain. (Brahma Purana’)

Touching the Peepal tree with both hands on Saturday, ‘Om Namah Shivaya’. By chanting it 108 times, the effect of sorrow, difficulty and planetary defects gets pacified. (Brahma Purana’)

On every Saturday, by offering water to the root of Peepal and lighting a lamp, many kinds of troubles are relieved. (Padma Purana)

Kartik Shukla Trayodashi
According to Narada Purana,

ऊर्ज्शुक्लत्रयोदश्यामेकभोजी द्विजोत्तम । पुनः स्नात्वा प्रदोषे तु वाग्यतः सुसमाहितः ।। १२२-४८ ।।
प्रदीपानां सहस्रेण शतेनाप्यथवा द्विज । प्रदीपयेच्छिवं वापि द्वात्रिंशद्दीपमालया ।। १२२-४९ ।।
घृतेन दीपयेद्द्वीपान्गंधाद्यैः पूजयेच्छिवम् । फलैर्नानाविधैश्चैव नैवेद्यैरपि नारद ।। १२२-५० ।।
ततः स्तुवीत देवेशं शिवं नाम्नां शतेन च । तानि नामानि कीर्त्यंते सर्वाभीष्टप्रदानि वै ।। १२२-५१ ।।

Tat stuveet deveshm shivam namnam shaten cha. Tani Naamani Kirtyante Sarvabhisthapradadi Vai. 122-51 On the day of Kartik Shukla Trayodashi, one should fast after eating one meal. After bathing again during Pradosh Kaal, be silent and concentrated, light up Lord Shiva with a row of thirty-two lamps. Light the lamps with ghee and worship Lord Shiva with smell etc. Then satisfy them with various types of fruits and naivedyas. By fasting in this way, a person enjoys all the pleasures of this world with the prasad of Mahadevji and finally attains the abode of Shiva.

सीदलपुष्पाणि​ ​ये यच्छन्ति जनार्दने।​
​कार्तिके सकलं वत्स​ ​पापं जन्मार्जितं दहेत्।।​ (पद्मपुराण)

In the month of Kartik, if one is not able to take bath on all the days, then by taking a bath before sunrise on these three days of Trayodashi, Chaudas and Poonam, one gets the virtues of bathing for the entire month of Kartik.

🙏🏻 The recitation of Vishnu Sahasranamam and the recitation of Gita are also very effective and virtuous for these three days.
