The glory of ‘Om Pranava’ (Om) (Chaturdashi Ardra Nakshatra Yoga: 26 July 2022 from 06:48 pm to 27 July 04:09 am)
Sutji said to the sages: “Maharishis! The name ‘Pra’ is the ocean of the world created by nature. Pranav is the (nav) boat to cross it. That is why this car is called ‘Pranava’. Om Kaar says to the seekers who do their chanting – ‘Pra-Prapanch, Na-Nahi, Va: – for you people. Its second sense is: ‘pra-prakarshen, na-nyet, vah-yushman moksham iti va pranavah. That is, it will force all you worshipers to reach salvation. By destroying all the karma of the yogis who do their chanting and the worshipers who worship their mantra, it gives them divine new knowledge, that is why it is also named Pranav-Pra (actionfully) Nava (giver of new knowledge).
🙏🏻 This illusionless Maheshwar is called Nava i.e. new. That God is primarily Nava i.e. pure form, hence he is called ‘Pranava’. Pranava makes the seeker new i.e. new (Shiva form), that is why learned men also know it by the name of Pranava or Pranava mainly manifests the Nav-Divine Paramatma-knowledge, hence it is Pranav.
🙏🏻 Although no means is needed for the life-mukt because he is a siddharupa, yet in the eyes of others, as long as his body remains, the spontaneous practice of Pranava-japa is done automatically by him till the TV. He keeps on chanting the subtle Pranava Mantra and researching the meaning of the Supreme Spirit till his body is dissolved. One who does not seek the meaning and only chants the mantra, he surely attains yoga. One who has chanted this mantra for 36 crores, he definitely gets yoga. Understanding that ‘A’ is Shiva, ‘U’ is Shakti and ‘Makar’ is the unity of these two, one should chant ‘Hrasva Pranav’. Chanting of this Hrsva Pranav is very necessary for those who want to get rid of all their sins.
Omkar should be chanted in the beginning of the Vedas and also at the time of worship of both the evenings. Lord Shiva said to Lord Bramhaji and Lord Vishnu: “I have preached my Swarupbhuta mantra in the past, which is famous as Omkar. That is a great auspicious mantra. First of all, Om (Om) appeared from my mouth, which gives the knowledge of my nature. The car is the reader and I am the reader. This mantra is my form. By constantly remembering the Om car every day, I am always remembered.
Munishwaro! Chant ten thousand Pranav mantras daily or one thousand Pranav chants each in both the evenings. This sequence also leads to the attainment of Shivaprad.
🙏🏻 ‘Om’ by chanting this mantra only one thousand per day, all desires are fulfilled.
The three letters ‘A’, ‘U’ and ‘M’ of Pranava represent the unity of Jiva and Brahma – knowing this one should chant Pranava (Om). During chanting, one should feel that ‘we worship Brahma, the creator of the three worlds, Vishnu the sustainer and the destroyer Rudra, who is the self-luminous mind. May this Brahma-swaroop form the attitudes of our sense organs and senses, the attitudes of the mind and the instincts of the intellect towards the Dharma and knowledge that always gives pleasure and salvation. While contemplating this meaning of Pranava with the intellect, one who chants it surely attains Brahman. Or one should chant Pranav regularly even without doing economics. 🙏🏻 (compiled from Videshwar Samhita under ‘Shiva Purana’)
The glory of ‘Om’ in different times
If Pranav is chanted in the sum of Chaturdashi consisting of Arda Nakshatra (from 06:48 in the evening on 26 July 2022 to 04:09 in the morning on 27 July), then it gives renewable results.
