🙏🏻 Ganeshji was born in the midday on the Chaturthi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month. At that time Monday was Swati Nakshatra, Leo Ascendant and Abhijit Muhurta. At the time of the birth of Ganesha, all the auspicious planets were creating Panchagrahi Yoga in the horoscope.
This year this festival will be celebrated on Wednesday, 31 August 2022.

By the way, there is a statement of Sumantu Muni in Bhavishya Purana.
There is no expectation of any date, constellation or fasting in the worship of Lord Ganesha. Any day on which Lord Ganesha is worshiped with devotion and devotion, she is the one who gives the desired results. Nevertheless, the worship of Ganesha on his birthday has special significance. That’s why Sumantu Muni again says in Bhavishya Purana that

“Whoever worships Lord Ganesha by fasting on the Chaturthi of Shukla Paksha, all his works get accomplished and all the bad things go away. By being favorable to Lord Ganesha, the whole world becomes favorable. On which the one-headed Lord Ganapati is satisfied, all the gods, ancestors, human beings etc.
According to Agnipuran, one who fasts on the Chaturthi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada attains Shivalok.

According to Bhavishya Purana, Brahmaparva

The name of Shukla Chaturthi of Bhadrapada month is ‘Shiva’. Jaggery, salt and ghee should be donated on this Chaturthi, it is considered auspicious and Brahmins should be fed with jaggery (malpua) and worshiped. On this day, a woman who feeds her mother-in-law and father-in-law with jaggery pudding and salted pudding is blessed with the grace of Ganapati. A girl wishing for her husband should especially fast on this Chaturthi and worship Lord Ganesha.

According to the Garuda Purana, “Somavare Chaturthyam Cha Samuposhyarchayedganam. japanjuhvatsmaranvidya swargam nirvanatam vrajet ” By fasting on Monday, Chaturthi Tithi, the fasting should worship Ganapatidev by law and perform his chanting, havan and remembering him. By observing this fast, he gets knowledge, heaven and salvation.
According to Shiv Purana, “Varshbhogprada Gyeya Krita Vai Singhbhadrke” when the Sun is situated on the Leo zodiac, at that time the worship of Ganesha on the Chaturthi of Bhadrapadamas provides the desired enjoyment for a year.

According to Agnipuran Chapter 301

Worship Lord Ganesha regularly, but organize worship especially on Chaturthi. Make a statue of him from the root of the white Aak and worship him. By offering sesame seeds to them, all desires are attained. If an offering is made from rice mixed with curd, honey and ghee, then one gets the accomplishment of good fortune and the attainment of Shivatva.

Modak (Laddus), Durva grass and red colored flowers are very dear to Ganesha. It is said in Ganeshji Atharvashirsha “Yo Durvankurainrayajati sa Vaishravnopamo Bhavati” that means one who worships Lord Ganapati through Durvankur becomes like Kubera. “Yo modaksahasrena yajati sa wanchit phalamvaproti” means one who worships with a thousand (thousand) laddus (modaks), he attains the desired result.
