🙏🏻 Vaishakh is the second month of Hindu religion. Due to the full moon having Vishakha constellation, it was named Vaishakh. (According to North India Hindu Panchang, Vaishakh month has started from today). (According to Gujarat and Maharashtra, the month of Chaitra is going on now. The month of Vaishakh will start there from Friday, April 21. The month of Vaishakh is virtuous, very dear to Lord Vishnu.
🙏🏻 One name of Vaishakh month is also Madhav month. The deity of this month is “Madhusudan”. He is called Madhusudan because he killed the demon Madhu. According to Vishnu Sahastranam “Dushswapne Smar Govindam Sankate Madhusudanam” in any kind of crisis, the name of Sri Vishnu, Madhusudan should be remembered.

➡ The person who sets water bowls for the travelers on the road in the month of Vaishakh, is respected in Vishnulok. Pyau is the one who gives immense love to the gods, ancestors and sages. The one who has satisfied the tired humans by offering them a drink in the month of Vaishakh, has satisfied the deities like Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva etc.
